Every couple of months we host an open-invitation meet to explore a small section of the Peak District National Park. It’s a great way of meeting new people and sharing our favourite places. We’ve visited the Chatsworth Estate, Derwent Reservoir, Chrome Hill, Win Hill, Ladyclough Forest and many more locations over the previous year. If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, you can find all the information you need for our next #peakstameet below. You don’t need to be interested in photography to come along, but if you are, please remember to tag us and we may ask if we can share your images.
- Date: Saturday 25th March.
- Time: 2pm.
- Location: The Winking Man (ST13 8UH approx.)
It’s that time again. Our next #peakstameet has been organised with an afternoon to sunset ramble around The Roaches. We will meet in The Winking Man pub carpark around 2pm (we will wait here until 2:15pm), before proceeding down to The Roaches – this is for those who are not sure where they are going as it can be a little tricky to pinpoint where to park etc. Following the meet, we will likely return to the pub for dinner and beer.
This will give us around 4 hours to explore around The Roaches, we could potentially take a visit to Lud’s Church as well if time sees fit. Remember you don’t need a camera to join us, it’s all just about getting Outdoors with like-minded people. There will be a number of cars leaving from Sheffield so if you need transport from here, please use the ‘get in touch’ button below and let us know. Additionally, so we can cater to the appropriate number of people, we also ask if you could please RSVP using the form below.
